COVID – 19 – A message to our Service Users
I am writing in response to the current situation regarding the provision of home care services and COVID – 19.
As a service, we are continuing with the high level of infection control. Personal Support Assistants will continue to use personal protective equipment (PPE) for any activity that brings them into close personal contact, for example, personal hygiene or washing and bathing. All such equipment is new for each individual service user.
Under the current situation, we operate under our business continuity arrangements and in partnership with other services across North Lincolnshire, the local authority and supported by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
As we are based with and work alongside our ‘sister’ organisation, the Carers Support Centre, the decision has been taken to temporarily close the office, with staff who usually are office based, working from home. Visits to your home are currently continuing to take place.
Our telephone lines will still be open, along with our ‘out of hours’ line should you require any help or clarification.
Thank you for your understanding during this period of uncertainty but assure you that we will continue to operate in your best interests at all times.
Please take care and stay safe,
